Trolley Rage! I hate shopping!

Walking around my local supermarket, I didn't realise how competitive and dangerous people can become, all to get a bargain. It was trolley against trolley as these people were just oblivious to anyone around them, all they could focus on was the sale rail.

I always thought that we lived in a civilised society, I think I must have been wrong. The sight of these people shoving and pushing each other so that could grab a handful of cheaper clothing was nothing short of embarrassing. Scavengers, that's what they were, every single one of them. The shop manager must have sat in his office, watching these people on the shops security cameras laughing his socks off at their desperate scavenging.

For me when I need to go shopping, I go straight in get what I want and get out of the shop. If I can get something a bit cheaper that's great, but I wouldn't degrade myself like these people did to get myself at the front of the queue for a bargain.

People moaning about Christmas

Walking around the shops recently I couldn't help but hear people moaning about Christmas. They were moaning about the all the fuss and cost just for one day of the year, yet there they were trolleys full of trees and decorations in the scrum of a supermarket! I agree that Christmas is over hyped and over commercialised, but that is only because deep down we enjoy it and with all the doom and gloom around, too right we should all enjoy it.

Christmas shouldn't be about the biggest tree with the most amount of lights as possible, nor should it be about expensive presents. Really it should be about getting together with family and friends and being grateful for the chance of being together. Forget about the stresses of everyday life, and for one day enjoy being together. If you feel the need to spend a handful of cash to decorate to get in the festive mood then do it, Christmas is the one day when we can all forget our troubles and celebrate.

UK Members of Parliment

I'm not someone who really follows politics or really worries about what they are doing, but recently UK MP's are in the media for non-political reasons. All of these MP's and political hanger ons really grate on my nerves recently. These people have been elected by the general public, yet they really believe that they are naturally a class above us all, with this they often push rules and laws to the limit.

When this government first took control, they bleated on about honesty and how they were going to stop tax fraud, dishonesty, their big society idea and so on.  Yet, since they came in to power all we seem to read is about them dishonestly claiming expenses, not paying enough taxes etc. We have even had the business secretary Vince Cable get caught out with an unpaid VAT bill. It really does undermine everything that this government has preached about.

How do they have the face to tell us one thing, when quite clearly they are doing the opposite of what they are saying. Why do they think that they can get away with it, when they are in the public eye and are obviously going to be scrutinised. These people should be grateful and honoured for being elected and not throw it back in the voters face by being shown in scandalous ways.

This coalition governments motto should be Do as we say and not as we do, this way we may be able to get some honesty and pride back in the general population.

Blackberry Users Moaning

These past few days in the media, everyone has been moaning and whinging at how put out they have been because of the blackberry network being down, how boring!

Are these peoples lives so connected to a text message that its a disaster when they cant use the system. Haven't they heard of a phone call, or PC so that they can email them? With all these technological advances in the world, mankind have become more and more dependent on technology rather than themselves.

With all the disasters and problems in the world, is a mobile phone that important? No it isn't, get a grip, theres more important things to worry about

TV ' Reality and Talent Shows'

At the moment as soon as one of these programs finish, another starts again. Am I the only person who has had enough of the same old stories, same old heartfelt pleas and freakier than ever contestents. Its boring , predictable, uninspiring and quite frankly rubbish.

These formats barely change from series to series, occasionally a presenter may be changed to try and breathe life into something well past its best before date! Surley this isnt the best people can come up with when designing TV shows. It must be time for something new, fresh and exciting. Surely thats what people want when turning the TV on

The general public who go on these shows, so desperate for fame, act as freaky and outrageous as possible all in the hope of being 'noticed'. I do notice them, but not in a good way, its more of a pitiful way.  I really fear what little limits some people have, when it comes to doing something to become famous.

Surely people should be watching programmes featuring people with talent rather than shows focusing on people with little or no talent at all.

Rip off lending companies

Something that really annoys me lately are these companies are offering loans and cash advance, they are on TV adverts, newspapers and even on the high street. These companies try to entice people to borrow through catchy adverts and the promise of cash quickly.

I understand the need for money lenders, but I find it hard to understand how these companies are allowed to charge APR rates of over 1700%!  I just feel that in these difficult times, with cuts being made everywhere, that this type of loan is dangerous for low earners who are struggling.

I would like banks to be prepared to lend small amounts of money to people with lower credits rating, in the hope to steer them away from these lending companies who cash in on them.
